The goal of the Woodstock Ale Fest is to showcase American craft beer while supporting the Woodstock community. The net proceeds from the fest will benefit Adult & Child Therapy Services.
For nearly 70 years, Adult & Child Therapy Services has provided physical, speech and occupational therapies to the fully insured, uninsured and underinsured of all ages to help community members achieve and maintain independence.
Three years ago, the physical therapists at Adult & Child started treating a 7 year-old girl from Harvard with cerebral palsy. She started with the agency to strengthen her legs before surgery at the Cerebral Palsy Center at the St. Louis Children’s Hospital. She returned after surgery and continued to work with the therapists. She progressed from a walker to two canes. One of her initial goals was to dance at her second-grade dance – which she did.
